So you all know the team now.... on 14:13 - Dec 10 with 1631 views | IeuanIvett98 | I like the fact we now have a striker playing, Gylfi dropping back and Mawson and Britton are back. Feel jack cork could be missed in the middle of the park and I'm upset Taylor hasn't been dropped too, other than that it's a promising line up I think

So you all know the team now.... on 14:15 - Dec 10 with 1609 views | csf | I wouldn't have made so many changes again. I also think Montero is more of a threat than Routledge, I wouldn't play Fulton and Britton. Happy to be proved why I'm not a premier league manager by the end of the game though.

You would play Montero after last week's horror show? And you'd go with just the one holding midfielder?

I will answer that for you. It's really this easy. All of them have had very poor games mixed in with some decent performances. As a result of their individual inconsistency none of them have warranted staying in the team regularly . Hope that helps. See it's quite easy.

So you all know the team now.... on 14:22 - Dec 10 with 1531 views | NeiltheTaylor | It's the centre back pairing I wanted to see. Of the rest I am hoping to see more of Dyer, so hopefully he'll appear. Brits and Rangel for Cork and Naughton are big calls. Fulton deserves to keep his spot.

Apart from Rangel for Naughton, that is exactly he side I wanted to see. Amat and Mawson not played together before but both appear to be our most consistent and less error prone than FF or VDH. Leon will set the tempo and Fulton is supposedly the hardest tackler in the squad. They all appear to be players that will put a shift in unlike Fer or Montero. I hope to see McBurnie at the expense of Routledge at some stage. This side might just happen to work today!!
So you all know the team now.... on 14:23 - Dec 10 with 1521 views | swancity | It's down to our players to perform. I think they're good enough. Nothing wrong with that team selection though.

I'm happy to see Rangel from the start so he can grow into the game as it goes along. He's been a bit suspect coming off the bench but he'll get us playing football from the back.

So you all know the team now.... on 14:25 - Dec 10 with 1500 views | Al_Bundy | Surely we have to play Montero at home against a bottom 3 side The defence is a shambles so whoever we pick so its damage limitation there Fer and Montero in midfield for Britton and Routledge in my opinion Good to see Llorente start - needs some decent service
So you all know the team now.... on 14:26 - Dec 10 with 1494 views | NeathJack | I'd have started Dyer ahead of Barrow and Borja instead of Llorente with Llorente held back as an impact sub. Other than that, it's a pretty balanced side and now he's picked it, he needs to stick with it for a few games instead of the constant chopping and changing. What about you Chris? What's your thoughts on the team now you know it and before the benefit of hindsight?

Yeah fair point. Maybe it's harder to get them old bones going while a game is already at full speed. I generally like the look of the team anyway.

I'd prefer Borja as well but I'm guessing there's a problem there, injury or something else I'm not sure. I like Routs out there as we know we'll have a bit of shape. The centre backs are an unknown quantity so that's a risk we've probably got to take as VdH was poor last week, as was Fer so I can understand why he's been dropped. I'm worried about Llorente as feel he's been poor all season but I'm praying he's ready to mix it up, get stuck in and win some ball back to front for us. Apart from that I think it just shows how difficult a job it is to pick the right 11 week in week out.

What he needs to do is pick a consistent team week in week out and at least give them the chance to gel instead of the umpteen reactive changes week in week out. I'd say even if this side loses today, now he's picked it they should start again at WBA and at Work next week.

As a highly paid football manager who sees the players on a near daily basis in training, I would hope to expect he knows his best pairing. Obviously you disagree .....
