Supporters action group 17:37 - Dec 6 with 19027 views | Murph75 | A few of us have mentioned meeting up to discuss getting some action going in terms of us showing how unhappy we are with the current situation of the club both on the field and off it. From conversations I've had with various other fans who don't visit this forum they're clueless to what's going and need waking up. The initial meeting is open to suggestion, I'm thinking we meet and discuss next steps to starting a marketing campaign etc. Meeting date is set for 7pm on 19th of December at the Landore social club. If you'd like to attend can you please PM me confirming your attendance. [Post edited 8 Dec 2016 19:57]

Supporters action group on 17:41 - Dec 7 by Landore_Jack | What about inviting fans from other forums? E.g. SCFC2 and thejack.army etc It would be great to spread the word on the Swansea City Supporters Trust Facebook page. |
I posted a link to this thread on scfc2 yesterday.

Maybe they should have reconsidered their policy of banning the posters being verbally abused for no reason whilst doing nothing about the people conducting the verbal abuse. More might have joined if it didn't appear to be a forum full of hot headed cry babies.

Well if the fella that started the thread over there about it closing down is the same admin as before you don't want to be mentioning cry babies. Seriously I'm amazed that people haven't heard the rumours though saying that some of those embarrassing c*nts would probably still post on there if they had.

Supporters action group on 19:24 - Dec 6 by DwightYorkeSuperstar | The fan base isn't split. A supporters group that isn't The Trust may be able to implement strategies that The Trust feels uncomfortable undertaking due to the risk of having a negative impact on their working relationship. For example, the proposed leaflet/poster campaign to aware the rest of the fan base, something The Trust admitted was a big problem. [Post edited 6 Dec 2016 19:27]

In a nutshell. Think back to Petty, that was a multi pronged effort. This is something I think gets missed. The Trust cant be poacher and gamekeeper. A loose alliance of fans wouldn't have to consider the sorts of things the Trust has to. Far easier to be reactionary.

lol. Strangely I've just been over there and you have to admit there's some bizarre c*nts on there,I'm being accused of deleteing posts on here now too. Funny thing is there's a mod currently posting on here and I'm being blamed for things that are nothing to do with me. Anyone want to own up?

The answer to that is simple. What we are trying to achieve will be set out at the meeting on the 19th, and it will be independent from this website and I'm sure against the approval of the trust. So it's quite obvious why it isn't a sticky if you think about it! In fact once we hold the initial meeting, We are hoping that it will be kept away from the site to avoid having threads removed.

Completely agree with what Gary has just said. I have my own views on the trust which I wont go in to on here as I don't want to create a divide between the fan base on here.

The problem is that there is still quite a while before the meeting takes place and some fans might not get to see about it on here. So it looks like it will need bumping until then.

Thank you Murph, though I will say that i would not get involved if i did not believe we could make a difference. We will set out a clear mandate, and the goals we wish to achieve. And they will not include people breaking the law in any shape or form. As you know, we have some great ideas on how to move this forward, but if anyone thinks we are planning on storming the directors box mob handed, then maybe this is not for you.
