Hal Robson Kanu on 22:10 - Aug 14 with 2413 views | northwesternjack | You have to remember Eder. He scored the winning Euro goal but he was absolutely useless here. Robson Kanu has a shocking record even in the championship, he isn't really worth having on the books

Hal Robson Kanu on 05:49 - Aug 17 with 1671 views | AussieSwan | Link posted above says that us and Celtic are both still interested. If he picks a club based on game time I think Hull would be his best bet. Having said that, we do have a track record of signing strikers we don't need (Vazquez, Shechter, N'Gog, etc) so if he's without a club on deadline day then I wouldn't rule this one out.

Hal Robson Kanu on 20:43 - Jun 16 by jackforever | Exactly feck me why are people so thick. Original post was for a third striker compared to most of our second strikers since we have been in the PL hes messiesque. FFS. |
This... he'd cost us very little in wages and nothing in a fee... to come on and chase balls late in the game he's decent enough for the sum of 0... nobody's suggesting he lead the line.

Spot on. The guy is obviously not a world beater and no mid-table Prem team like us would ever have a world beater as a 3rd choice striker anyway or could even afford to. However, having someone who's been around the block, played a respectable amount of International football and who's workrate and effort have always been first class is about as good as we could realistically expect. If he joined us, he'd maybe start in a few cup games and play about 7-10 games as a sub in league games when either Llorente or Baston was injured. Where's the risk?

Hal Robson Kanu on 18:49 - Aug 17 with 1285 views | Rancid | It's a bizarre scenario. That goal against Belguim has turned him into the most talked about transfer of the summer.Nobody decent will take a punt on him because they know he's not that good really. He must have a good bloody agent though linking him to Atletico, Seville and now West Ham.He'd be more suited to those lot up the road.
Hal Robson Kanu on 19:15 - Aug 17 with 1247 views | Al_Bundy | Strange thread this.. HRK has still got a few weeks of the transfer window so he's hedging his bets on getting the best deal. The OP suggests we get him in as a cheap striker , we should learn some lessons on by cheap fill ins.

How do you know he’d be that cheap? Maybe this is a reason he’s not signed on with anyone — he thinks he’s Yohan Cruyff now. Possibly he also would not want to go anywhere as a 3rd choice striker.

Hal Robson Kanu on 21:05 - Aug 17 with 1159 views | tomdickharry | If Baston or Llorente suffered a long term injury then this player will be upgraded to one of our main strikers,we are just trying to rid ourselves of one no hoper at PL level Emnes,no way should we sign this player just not good enough, simple as that.

Good question and to be honest I've no idea. I'd prefer to give McBurnie the chance as third striker as part of his development.

Me too another striker would be a luxury. We need a CB RB AM In that order I think.
