How many away games can you go to in London, mix with the home fans and enjoy a drink in any of the pubs around the ground? It was a first for me. We started off in the New Inn and the only criteria for getting in was to have a match ticket. Not a QPR or a Brentford ticket ,just a match ticket. Fair play to Brentford's sensible policy of treating fans like adults and not being ruled by police advice to separate us fans.It would be good if the pubs around the Bush could adopt the same policy. However true to form of late a good pre match beer was spoilt by some dreadful football. COYRs
Agree, with that. Drank in three prior to the game. Think it may be down to the idea if you dont separate the fans then the vast majority of sensible supporters will dilute the trouble makers and friction is less likely to develop
Slightly odd watching the Bees players drifting past the Princess Royal afterwards, as they do for all games apparently. Not sure ours would venture to do the same around some pubs around LR
