Laudrup has only stayed longer than 2 years in a job when he was at Brondby, he certainly doesn't fit in with the long term development etc that Fernandes has been talking about recently, nor does Laudrup have a record of bringing through or developing players.
I'd be trying to tempt Thomas Tuchel to get back into football early, although I doubt he'd be silly enough join us, or do the sensible thing & wait until the end of the season to see where we are and probably have the option of Clement if Ancelotti gets sacked.
Fernandes record for appointing managers is poor & he always claims his appointments are his dream manager, he talks of lessons learnt but we rarely see much proof of this and frankly the bloke scares me now, I can't see us making any progress while he's running the club so I await our new manager with a feeling of dread. |  |
