Would surely be draining to go out to Romania and get back from a Friday night game in time before we set off to Port Vale though.
A friend of mine who goes the NI games said the following:
We usually have one holding then two. Davis is out, so it'll be Brunt, Evans an Norwood I'd imagine.

Nope, Hill was in the 2-2 at Spotland, but they were not happy after the earlier game that season at Vale Park (think it might have finished 1-1), in which Coleman was in charge. | |

Apologies for the late response to this one, but I was there at Lord's on the opening day in 1976 when he was brought out of international retirement to face up to the W. Indies quicks
(I was a student in London at the time and managed to cadge a ticket to one of the "posh" stands. Sat two seats away from Peter Sellars.)
And just about the bravest knock I've ever seen in my life. We finished the day on 196-6, unbelievably low scoring but absolutely fascinating day's cricket. Vanburn Holder took a brilliant catch in the covers, the best I've ever seen. Close got 50 I think and the entire ground stood to applaud as if he'd hit a double hundred. |  |
