Bury's AGM 16:45 - Oct 14 with 5300 viewsBartRowou

Apparently, it's been scheduled for 5th November at 9.00 AM. Maybe Mr Day has a fireworks display to attend that night hence the early start.

One of the resolutions is to get rid of AGMs.

I do feel sorry for their decent fans, the majority of whom are getting very worried by what's going on.

Busy counting down to my holiday in Mexico. 43 days to go. You can enjoy a couple of weeks of peace when this place ends up dead as usual.

They finally get an AGM and they are still not happy, the timing is obviously to reduce opposition and attendees to proposals, while deflecting any financial criticism as the previous owners based on 2013 accounts.

Anybody seen Stewey Day recently by the way?

Anyone know where its going to be held?

According to their last annual return as at the end of 2013 there were 632 individual shareholdings - they'll need a big room if they all turn up!

Quick scan of the return reveals that the SOS Trust fund owns 61% of the club and Bury Supporters Society own 14%.

Oh and Stewart Day owns 0.05% of the club (Arf!)

I don't think the SOS shares are owned by Forever Bury (FB), or at least they are not controlled by FB. There's a thread on the mong board questioning whether FB's 11% shareholding, and ability to call an EGM, could be threatened by further shares being purchased by 'others' which takes FB below the 10% shareholding required to call an EGM.

The lack of transparency stinks to high heaven. Putting the rivalry to one side, I genuinely fear for bury's medium to long term future. The vast majority of their fans do not deserve the ever increasingly likely fallout from the so called #revolution.
