One for the cyclists here... 12:25 - Apr 28 with 113004 views | llangyfelach | For varying reasons I'm not confident enough to get out and about on my bike, so for the next couple of months I'll be using my indoor Turbo Trainer. I'm mindful that at the moment I'll be training based on time rather than distance, so want to get myself a decent milometer. Any recommendations? Ta in advance

I used to use it and an app for iPhone only called Runtastic road bike which was free and really good. I use Strava now because you can upload from your phone or GPS computer thing!

It was stunning there this evening. Although I miss the original Penhydd and the trees.
One for the cyclists here... on 07:13 - May 18 with 3119 views | Pacemaker | It does look strange without conifers now. There is a big replanting scheme of native trees taking place so in a few years it will be back all dark and moody!

Not to bad fathy, got a slight hamstring strain in my right leg, but that's from a bit of circuit training on friday, it was just so warm today, I had a nice 20minute kip in the chair when I came back fine and dandy now.

I use my exercise bike most days and my rower so legs are used to it, out on bike at least 3 nights this week though, 2hrs or so, mate wants me to do brecon run in September, so need to put the miles in.

I'm thinking of trying for the CARTEN 100 next year. Pacemaker did it this year but he's a racing snake.
