Dale boss Steve Eyre has added to his ranks today by bringing in Luton Town striker Matthew Barnes-Homer on loan until January with a view to a permanent transfer.
With the club limited for players right now, Eyre has at least given himself further options by bringing in Barnes-Homer on a temporary basis. Whilst it would appear that MBH isn't a direct replacement for Chris O'Grady, he will at least take some of the pressure off Akpa Akpro and Grimes.
He comes to the club with a record at Luton and Kidderminster of a goal every three games, and has been called up to play for England C Team. His form at Kidderminster prompted Luton to pay £75,000 for his services.
He will go into the squad to take on Hartlepool at Spotland this Saturday.
