New Deal For Gorre Ends Sunderland And Leicester Interest Monday, 6th Jul 2015 20:38 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews) The Swans have been handed another summer boost with the news that Kenji Gorre has signed a new extended contract at the Liberty Stadium ending speculation of transfer interest in the player. Gorre, who made his Premier League debut at the end of last season at Crystal Palace two years after joining the club from Manchester United. Gorre's three year contract will put to an end speculation that had linked him with a move to Sunderland and Leicester although nothing formal is believed to have ever come the way of the club. Speaking on signing his new deal, Gorre told the club's official website “I’m delighted. “I’m more than happy at Swansea and pleased to sign the new deal. “It was great to make my debut at Crystal Palace,’’ added the 20-year-old. “It was a fantastic experience and a chance to prove that if you work hard you’ll get your opportunity.’’ Signatures like this for me are as important as some of the new players coming into the club. Keeping our best youngsters here gives us a great foundation for the future so full marks to the club for this signature. Social MediaTweet Related ArticlesSunderland and Leicester Wanting Gorre?
