Thats my Uncle Peter , my late dads brother . One of 12 children
We all had season tickets in Ellerslie Road . I was given the heads up that he was going to the game by family members so went down early to see him .
The club were brilliant , finding out where he was dining and just taking me and my eldest boy up to see him . It was great , the closest thing i will ever get to my Dad and the last Williamson of that generation to go to LR . Great memories of playing golf at Ruislip going to his place for breakfast(he lived in West Ruislip then ) Rangers in the afternoon .

Ego is the driver for sure.
Success in business gives you a nice lifestyle but no one approaches you for a handshake an autograph or a selfie . You dont get to walk around being applauded by thousands , mixing with great players , interviewed in a sport context on TV and radio .
Thats why the biggest sanction we as fans have on them is ridicule and embarrassment .

My two boys and my eldest boys partner were at Man Utd commercial before moving to their present jobs. Their office was by Green Park station
The commercial; operation was hugely successful , but they tell me all but one staff member have moved on .
The club truly is huge , some of the stats they used to tell me were mind blowing. |
