It would be very much like the owners of this club to sack the manager after arguably our best performance in months.
My personal view is that the club will spend this week sorting out his replacement and Marti will be gone after the Watford game with new man in charge before we play Norwich |

I thought first 20 minutes Celar was pretty good but the penalty miss killed him and he went missing after that, felt for him, should never have taken it |

I wouldn't be changing manager and Hunter has pretty much said what I think on the issue but I did find his change yesterday taking off Smyth and playing Ashby as a right winger pretty bizarre |

not at all I'd keep him and I really hope he stays but we've won 1 game all season and it's December next week, we've sacked managers for a lot less. |

Yeah i don't want to start a witch hunt on Belk, I'm sure hes doing his best but he's been in that role a long time and I'm not sure he deserves another window to get it right.
The most damning thing I can say about the recruitment side is on the forwards. Since we went down in 2015 we've signed tons of forwards and for a lot of money likes of Washington, Bonne, Dykes, Sylla, Celar etc
The best ones in that time have either been loans like Wells and Hugil, players coming back to the club for a 2nd spell like Austin or the most successful of the ones we spent money on was arguably Matt Smith and he was used as a sub for a lot of his time here.
Thats an appalling record
There is a strong case to say that all 3 of Belk, Ciffuentes and Nourry should be packing up their desks |

usually between 12 and 1, if you go by the club shop thats where the players usually walk in after parking their cars, its fenced off with stewards but the players always stop for photos and autographs |

He's been here a long time and can take credit for some good signings and a few stinkers as well. This summer was to my knowledge the first time he got a free hand on things and was able to bring in who he wanted without a manager or dof saying no and the end result has been a disaster.
The one good thing about the new structure is there is no hiding place anymore, if the recruitment is great we know where the credit goes, if it's crap we know who to blame |

I'd argue we did better under Jim Gregory winning a cup, finishing second, getting to a few cup finals, european football and top 5 finishes
Those good times in the 90s were not because of Thompson at all

Wright did it in the Championship rather than when we had a brilliant team to build on , thats the major difference.
They were the glory years but they could have lasted a lot longer and been a lot better. |

Long term though balancing the books was the wrong thing to do which I know sounds mad but within a few years we were in division two and in administration so selling those players never really benefited us that much.
We were on the brink of the game going mad. I'm not saying they should have put the club at risk but a few additions around then rather than selling every year and we could have achieved so much more and set the club up for the next 20 years
Honestly if Quantum Leap was real and I was Sam Beckett I would be begging to leap into Richard Thompson in 1991 and run QPR for a few years with the knowledge of what happened. And when I'd done that and QPR were sorted I'd start leaping to fulfil the pervy fantasies. Sorry that went in a bizarre direction, it's been a long week |

this feels like a massive week ahead, 3 games, 2 of them against sides likely to finish bottom half, we need to be getting at least 4 points here possibly 6 but you look at who is available and genuinely can't see how we win any of them |
