In a normal club the opportunity for fan representatives to engage in dialogue would be difficult to criticise. But here?? Sitting down with people who have sued, are suing, and will continue to sue fans? What on earth are people hoping to achieve here? "Tell them straight"? Oh FFS, like they don't know what to do. Prospective MPs: don't for one second think you are representing me or anyone else in this ridiculous charade. Just you and your puffed up sense of self importance. |

On FOL, Chesh asked why BHS and not Gazette comments or FOL, to which FOL replied Chesh, We don't know about the gazette and to be honest we don't know about BHS either. We assume that unlike FOL, BHS did not follow the defamation acts' procedures correctly unlike FOL, thereby opening themselves up to action from the Os. |

She is indeed well out of it, and whoever takes over will also be shot at. KO has positioned BSA as representing all fans and they have historically accepted that position. Sending letters about Ince, to the players and attending SISA meetings uninvited with KO just reinforces that BSA are involved in the politics, there’s no getting out of that. Can understand and sympathise with Fiona’s position but it was never going to be like six years ago. BFC are a totally different proposition now, relationships worsening week on week. BSA need a total rethink of what they are about. If they conclude ‘no change’ then the next BSA chair has a very unenviable position. |

I really haven't followed the letters saga closely, but can someone explain how the Oystons were able to send out umpteen letters? They must have got names from somewhere. Fansonline say it wan't them. So who passed the details on? Hmmm? |

What HdS said. Bro-in-law given redundancy on minimum terms and now a part time postie and part time bookie's clerk after several failed attempts to find permanent work. |

Exactly ODB. If I had a pile of cash that was really the football club’s money and not mine, I certainly wouldn’t be spending it in January … put a fork in this season, it’s done. But is there anyone left that thinks the club will get anything substantial back from the O’s and doesn’t also believe in leprechauns? In another world, a statement that substantial budget was being carried over might at least give some hope that next season could be competitive but such is KO’s standing that it wouldn’t be believed, even if the greedy buffoon was visited by the ghost of Christmas future next month and really meant it. FUBAR, as you say. [Post edited 10 Nov 2014 14:21]

I've never drunk more than three pints in a day. I've never taken millions of pounds intended for one purpose and used it for something entirely different. [Post edited 10 Nov 2014 13:12]

Was just thinking the same this morning — we’re as good as down, unless our record for the remaining 29 games is something like W11, D10, L8. What would be a hard but logical debate about the strategy for the club is again rendered meaningless by KO’s position. For a start, we don’t have an articulated football strategy, we didn’t last season and we won’t have next season. The ‘strategy’ will just be a reduced budget and another bunch of blokes who are here for a year or so. It’s a perfect argument for KO though … let’s ‘conserve our resources’ … I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t trot out something similar in January. I’m also expecting that Clark will be ‘rebuilding with hungry young footballers’, for whom ‘opportunity is more important than money’ or some other codwallop. For me, the link between the money coming in and the money spent on the team and infrastructure is now so utterly broken that it really doesn’t matter. Why not bring in a few more charismatic types with criminal records to spice up the rest of the season? We deserve a bit of a laugh. |

Not wanting to be difficult or obtuse, but a brand doesn’t make a decision, people do. Who are the people? |

'we have decided to move to a new site' Who are the 'we' that have decided this? I've asked before and not seen an answer. I don't have a problem with the new site per se, but think the 'we' of AVFTT should be known. Who are you? |
