| Forum Thread | Have we lost in our pink kit this season? at 16:21 15 Jan 2025
I'm not sure that we have. Who'd have thought it? Perhaps we should wear it for the rest of the season...... Only positive vibes from now on from miserable critical coont Pat from Poole. |
| Forum Thread | Shareholders in Sport Republic at 13:37 14 Jan 2025
As I'm a bore, just been looking at the shareholdings in Sport Republic Holding Limited, the parent company of Saints. In terms of the shares which carry both voting rights and entitlement to receive dividends and distributions, the proportions held are as below:- Dragan Solak - 74.93% Henrik Kraft - 10.12% Dirk Gerkens (no idea who he is) - 5.57% Ankersen - 5.42% Others - 3.95% Kraft will still be having an involvement in decision-making. Dragan might as well buy all these idiots out. Particularly Ankersen. |
| Forum Thread | Sulemana at 14:18 13 Jan 2025
Sorry, I’m not buying it. He played yesterday against a scuffling Championship side which had its best two CB’s out injured. He found his level. If anybody is interested in signing him this month, we should snap their hands off. He did very little for us in the Championship last season. |
| Forum Thread | The humiliation of Adam Armstrong by Southampton Football Club at 12:39 5 Jan 2025
Difficult to disagree with Alfred House from the Echo on this one. This has now gone absolutely viral, and is shambolic by the Club. Adam Armstrong is one of the very few players at this Club who I have any time for. He played a huge role in our promotion, and would never disrespect the Club by sitting on the pitch for 5 minutes after a home defeat to chat with an opponent, like Sulemana. The Club owes him a public apology. Disgraceful.

Other than your season ticket / match ticket monies. Boycott all gulags, the Dell Bar, food and drink, club shops, all merchandise. All of it. A wholly legal form of protest, cannot be dismissed by the Club as mob rule. It will never happen of course, as there are far too many people who simply must get their fix of drinking crap lager in a plastic glass while bawling moronic Scouser songs about the club starting in a chapel. But it would be a good start. |

Of Goztepe........ I dare say we won't be blessed with similar. The man is the very definition of incompetence, and we will not progress as a club until he is got rid of.

| Forum Thread | 2024 - the year for Saints at 09:05 31 Dec 2024
Guess it's fair to describe it as a year of two halves...... Highs:- West Brom away (League) Huddersfield home (what a game that was) Birmingham away West Brom home (play-offs - proper noise that night and celebrations across the City long into the night) Leeds at Wembley Lows:- Ipswich away last season Leicester away last season Stoke home Moving from the Itchen North (I really loved it in there) Pretty much every game in the Prem I guess it's certainly not been dull, and I suspect 2025 won't be either. Though a big part of me thinks of the Leeds play-off final as a "Sliding Doors" moment, and wonders quite how different the last 5 months would have been if Daniel James hadn't hit the bar at the end of that game. Happy New Year to fellow Ugly comrades. |
| Forum Thread | Nucleus of a fairly strong Championship side next season at 13:30 30 Dec 2024
McCarthy Bree Wood Edwards Charlie Taylor Downes Aribo Smallbone Fraser Archer Armstrong That's a starting 11 of players I don't see getting moves to a Prem club in the summer, possible question mark on Downes maybe. With the likes of Fraser, Amo-Ameyaw and dare I say Stephens also there to add options from the bench. You could see Archer and Armstrong each getting 20-odd goals in the Championship next season. A few decent signings to give us more depth, and it should be a decent season. |
| Forum Thread | Who is conducting transfer negotiations in January? at 13:22 30 Dec 2024
Parsons? Ankersen? Bitcon? Would be concerned with all of these. Based on our summer business, Ramsdale and Fernandes apart, they have failed us miserably. Our failure to replace Jason Wilcox has proved very costly. |
