By chance I was staying at same hotel on 16th of February as QPR team.Had picture taken with a good number of the players and spoke to 3 of 4 of them.But best of all was a chat with Marti. He was pleased to meet a long time QPR fan.It was an amazing experience.I’am 85 and my first away game was seventy years ago. |

It took place during the 1970's,a midweek night game in the Midlands. Around 200 plus R,s fans made the trip.I was in a small convoy from the Hayes/ Hillingdon area .Does anyone- else have memories of that match? No prizes for guessing which match . Bizarre because RANGERS were not playing !! |

A much friendlier place than it was when I first went there in the early 1970,s. Nearby North Street is great for craft beer bars,restaurants and lots more. |
