Agreed, unless they have their sights on a top target or short list of options I suspect they'll wait to see who becomes available in/before the summer. Will also depend of course which league were playing in by then! |

Wish him the best. He tried and failed as has many before and no doubt will in the future. Right decision, and hopefully we'll start to see things change on the pitch with some tactical changes and a new voice. Hopefully this is the springboard to being a more progressive club and not paper over the cracks. |

My question to Mr Coleman: "Given we have won only 1 in 10 games, why do you have faith that Luke Williams is still the man to lead the team and steer us to safety, and at what point do you think his position becomes untenable like the majority of fans currently believe?" |

Uranus. But I stand by my observation. No end product, it hasn't clicked, but there is a very slight improvement (in my humble opinion which I'm entitled to ☺️) |

The end product isn't quite there (yet) but I think there's a definite difference in our play. We're not keeping or dallying onto the ball for the sake. We're passing quickly and much more directly too mixing it up a bit. Style wise it's a bit better. |

If you've ever watched moneyball you'll know they used a system in MLB which can predict how much more likely your team will get results with/without certain players in it. Don't get me wrong, could be used for Gambling purposes, but given Montagues role it's much more likely it's being used to hypothetically for modelling results for teams to look at "what if we had this player or that player". |

I understand your point. However how many times has "individual "errors" cost us? Last night we were the home team playing against an average SW riddled with injuries off the back of a decent hard fought win against Bristol. Yet we played like a team who had travelled to Carlisle on the last day of the season already relegated. For 75 minutes there was no energy, no drive, no desire to try and rip SW apart. A individual mistake doesn't cost you so much when you've already scored (or capable of scoring) 2-3 goals, but we were so shockingly bad all over the pitch you can't put the loss down to one player. Yes players need to take account for their performances, but I see very little motivation or enthusiasm from LW in the dug out either to berrate or try to inspire the players. If you look back at my previous posts I always give our managers support and the benefit of the doubt, but LW has to go (he should have gone after Norwich at the latest IMO). I won't be attending a game in person again until someone else is in. I just hope when I do return it'll be to watch Championship football and not League 1 which is where we are currently heading. |

Could be of course that Coleman has brought Montague in to do the independent assessment and do the firing of the manager and hiring of his successor. |

4-5 points off the bottom three should just about do it, so we're probably talking by the end of Feb I suspect. |

There's no (very little) loyalty in Football. Yes they have a connection, but as soon as we went calling with a better opportunity Williams left Montague in the lurch at Notts County. As soon a Montague seen this level of performances Williams is orchestrating and we continue to slip closer to the bottom three the trigger will be pulled. Even DOF's aren't exempt from wage reductions in their contracts when relegation is confirmed. Question of when, not If. |

We're 17th in the league as it stands tonight. We've won one game in 9. We are heading in the wrong direction with this manager. First half of the season he was inconsistent, but picked up enough points to calm the nerves. Now he's consistently bad. At best he's incompetent, at worst given his recent behaviour, comments in the media and bizarre selection/tactics, he's being insubordinate to get an early pay off and go join his mate Russ Martin on a golf course and beach somewhere. This simply can't continue. |

I disagree on this showing. At least he's looked like he cares and is having a bit of a go. Poor cross into the box from the free kick but other than that he looks to have added some energy at least. If we had 3 players with his attitude from the start it might have been a different outcome tonight. |
