| Forum Thread | Christmas Games a great test at 12:27 23 Dec 2024
The next 3 (Swans a, Norwich a and Watford h) should really tell us if we are going top be safely ensconced in mind table this season. All 3 having the sort of season we thought we should be having. If we are picking up 4 points from those games I think it's a great sign for the future |
| Forum Thread | These Manager Appointments are Mad at 09:06 24 May 2024
It seems football has collectively lost its mind Rooney to Plymouth Maresca or Frank to Chelsea Kompany to Bayern McKenna to Man U Now I'm not saying that Tuchel and Poch are the be all and end all, but 2 years ago they were 2 of the best coaches in the world. Now apparently nobody wants them and instead wants to hire someone who had oodles of cash in the Championship and therefore found it easy. McKenna would be mental to go to Man U or Chelsea when Brighton want him. Those clubs will eat him alive |
| Forum Thread | QPR 11 - Rogues gallery at 13:10 18 Jan 2024
Saw a thread on another forum of naming your rogues gallery 11. We've certainly had some wrong un's GK - Paddy Kenny - 9 month ban for failed drug test RB - Terrell Frobes - Accused of rape CB - Clarke Carslile - Alcoholic. Jumped off a bridge and caused a driver to swerve and kill someone. That driver then killed themselves CB - Arthur Gnohere - Sacked by club for stealing from dressing room (allegedly) LB - RW - Adel Taarabt - The streets won't forget CM - Joey Barton - *gestures to everything* CM - Mark Bircham - Arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery LW - Trevor Sinclair - Arrested for drink driving (twice over the legal limit) ST - Marcus Bent - Affray and drug charges ST - Les Ferdinand - Smashed up the BBC Blue Peter garden (allegedly) What a club. What other colourful characters have I forgotten? |

Shame, they looked one to be slipping into the mire |

| Forum Thread | Would you rest Chair v Coventry at 13:15 7 Nov 2022
- Eve of the World Cup - Run himself into the ground for us - Might have other things on his mind I'd be very tempted, more as a 'thanks' for going all guns blazing this season despite a World Cup in December |

Seems something has finally clicked and he’s doing really well at Orient. Is his contract up this summer or do we have an option on it? |
| Forum Thread | I still love this team at 19:52 6 Apr 2022
I've realised that failing to make the play offs bothers me so much because I genuinely love this group of players, manager and staff. I wanted it for them, something for this rag tag bunch of misfits who have given us an amazing 12 months (especially when Covid times were so tough). I've seen us win the Play Offs and reach the Prem, not really something I'm desperate for again.. but this group... man I wanted them to taste it. So many wonderful stories... the 35 year old wing backs defying their age. The brick sh*thouse defender with a thunderbstard shot and a touch like a velvet glove. The French centre back who wants to take on the world. Dom Ball with flailing arms and kicking legs not really sure where the ball will end up. Amos and Field, tossed aside by their illustrious clubs and picked up by us and nursed back to health. A dwarf and an older, less talented brother of a Premier League player ripping the division to shreds. The returning club hero to get us out the mire and set us on our way. A Scotstralian who schtupped his former managers wife and changes his hair every week. It's a mental, crazy bunch that is just PROPER QPR. A proper cult team this and I'm sad they will have nothing to show for it. Won't be spoken about like Warnock's men, Ollie's scoundrels or Gerry's top side in London. I haven't enjoyed going to QPR and watching us play this much in close to 10 years. We'll likely part ways with Warbs come summer and the out of contract players will go along with Willock, Dieng etc and before we know it the whole place will look different. But for 12 months, in this league, nobody shone brighter than Queens Park Rangers |
| Forum Thread | Next Seaon's Championship at 08:56 1 Dec 2021
Looks like newcastle will be coming down for their semi regular jaunt where they will hoover up anyone remotely talented and subvert the transfer market. Hopefully we can massively overcharge them for a few players |
| Forum Thread | Taking my Son to his first game tomorrow at 09:28 17 Sep 2021
Well, time to pass the sickness on to the next generation! (Also my wife has said if I want o go as much this season he has to come with) He's 4 and a half so anyone with any advice on how to get through the game with a kid that age please feel free to share! Hopefully we score a goal so he at least has something to shout about! |

Poor bloke. Reports say he's out for 6-8 months. Did this myself last summer, really horrible injury. Such a shame, seemed as though he was set to be the main man next season at Palace as well |

I'm afraid the day kicks off on a sombre note. Arsenal have sacked Gunnersaurus. Bastards. I'm not even sure a slick promo video announcing Adomah returning 'home' will cheer me up |
