Did you go to this game: Jimmy Rimmer Testimonial. 15:20 - Jan 12 with 1828 viewsswansfc

For our Throwback Thursday photo we posted a scanned image of the matchday programme from the Jimmy Rimmer Testimonial match against Man United which took place on 24th Feb 1987.

It seems the then Swansea Chairman Doug Sharpe and Jimmy had their differences. After calling him a true professional in the programme notes he adds:

Not that Jimmy and I see eye to eye on everything. We have had our differences, but at the end of the day whatever we have done has been for the greater benefit of the Club.
