It surprises me that quite a few people still love Mackie. Yes, he was a great pro, yes he worked harder than anyone I had ever seen, but he is average Championship team quality. His tactic was to run down the line, head down, without doing anything with it. I like Mackie but to say he would have improved us this season is simply wrong. | |
