They are repetitive and annoying but they make a lot of noise and dont really shut up. When we beat them there 3-0 a couple of season ago they kept on and on. Need to get some new songs though!
"Michu, Britton and Williams could have won 3-0 on their own. They wouldn't have required a keeper."
"We'll sing on our own" "Hes captain of Wales" "He scores when he wants"
Same tune just like every other club, Palace are different and they don't just sing for half hour then get bored. That's the way the ultra movement is, sing and support regardless, all game. We as well as most fans could learn a lot from Palace and the European scene, even Port Talbot Town fans have an ultras group, they sing all game and create a cracking atmosphere.
''You're gonna meet some strangers.
Welcome to the zoo.
Bitter disappointments.
Except for one or two.
Some of them are angry.
Some of them are mean.
Most of them are twisted.
Few of them are clean.'' 'tans initial phonecall to Solskjaer.

Im pretty sure Palace have a designated "Ultras Section" in the stand behind the goal to the left. When you go there that whole section is up for it and it makes a huge difference i think.
Whether you could do that at our place without some chimps moaning about standing up or making too much noise or moaning about something random remains to be seen.

Well surely the East stand is somewhere to use... the current singing corner.
They should create a singing league. Have a spin off show after MOTD called Ultras of the Day, then viewers can vote the best and worst at the end of the program and the losers get points deducted from the football team they support.
Ultras ffs.
I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

Are we seriously having another ultras thread? We've done this one to death for years and it's never added anything. Sing, stand up, shout, whatever- that doesn't make you an ultra- it makes you a relatively normal fan.
We just used to be called loyal supporters back in the day, but some have a need to label it to make you seem somehow more loyal than the rest- I'd call it insecurity.
Proudly plastic since 1978!

It seems everyone is better than us at everything this season.
Spot on Darran, negativity is unbelievable. Defeatist fans are the very worst. Many many people i speak to who have visited swansea are overwhelmed with the noise and support we have and generate.
You can always save face by cutting your fu cking head off.

Agree with all of that. The whole idea is a complete nonsense. Invariably involves a bunch of morons who enjoy jumping up and down chanting monotonously throughout the game completely oblivious to anything happening on the pitch. They also enjoy the choreography before kick off which normally means holding up some stupid piece of coloured cardboard or pulling an enormous flag over their heads all for the benefit of the TV cameras.
It's sad that British football fans now have to look to the continent but that's a direct consequence of the game being marketed to families and the relatively well-off let alone this cringeworthy Prem-celeb culture we now have.
A trip to the Liberty isn't an enjoyable one to many and a singing-section/safe-standing area would remedy that. No more rugby/Man Utd/Liverpool fans telling you to sit down because they can't see (YES I am suggesting that the majority of those are new/plastic/Prem types). It's a football match not your fcuking living room.

brilliant fans, by far the best in the league.
Id say Palace creates the best atmosphere followed by cardiff in 2nd. To be fair it sounded loud as fuc at cardiff on tv. I think we need to tart making some noise it's so quiet at our stadium your can hear some1 fart. God knows how loud cardiffs stadium will be when they increase their stadium capacity to 34k ready for next season.
