Seeing as we have some moaning about how quiet it is now on the forum.
Interestingly I spent the last 10 minutes looking at the stats
Since launch we have had almost 13000 posts on the forums - this is just about 500 posts per day on the forums. On average the old forums were averaging around 650 per day but the 500 per day is currently growing and closing in on that number.
So far this month we are at 2.71m page views recorded on the site. Only once this year (January) did the old site exceed 3m so overall there are more page impressions and visitors coming to the site at the moment. The argument will be that the site takes you back to index page etc but it used to take you to your post after giving a 'thanks for posting page' which is actually the same number.
New features are due to go live any day - there have been some teething issues with some of them hence the delay but they are many of the features people have asked for.
One of the reasons the forums feel quieter is we used to run with 16 topics per page, we now run with 25 so whilst there are less topics being posted on (given the reduction in post count) it also looks less as there are more topics and post per page.
The other thing we have now is far more guests viewing the forum. This was always going to be a factor in the new forum as people need to register and we get many people trying to log in using old names which keeps the guest count up.

Nah this place is piss poor. That said the old PS died a death towards the end as well, in terms of quantity & quality of posts.
Compare this place to MB's of similar sized clubs and it's dead in comparison. Thanks mainly down to the mods and the cliquey groups they've inadvertently created. The old PS site was the same old dicks spamming the feecck out of every other thread. It makes for a crap experience when threads are full of pages & pages of utter tripe, more than often perpetuated by the mods. Ruined what should be a fans site, not some little virtual playground for the some clique. |  | | |

Got to agree. Also by any objective standard the website itself is very poor. Functionality issues aside Its whole appearance is utilitarian and depressing and the user interface is neither well designed nor intuitive which impacts everyone that uses it.
It is a shame because a lot could be improved by relatively small changes. But hey why be enlightened when we can just take the p1$$ out of anyone that points out its shortcomings. Lets just continue to insult each other like kids in the playground. |  | | |
