Our next big hurdle is bridging the eight point gap between us and the play-off places. I think the autos are just about beyond us now. I’ve watched quite a few League 2 podcasts recently, and they’re all suggesting us as the possible late run dark horse this season - it’s just whether there are enough games in the season left to make up that amount of ground. | ![](/images/avatars/1046.gif) |

Interesting about the Podcasts Wessex I haven't seen those and of course it's always nice to be under the radar. A couple more victories and others will begin to believe. We must keep Teddy Bishop and Owura Edwards fit and of course our Talisman Lyle Taylor. Thinking about Carlisle will stick with a similar starting line up or and whisper it two up top. Plenty to mull over, over to you DC. Up the U's [Post edited 13 Feb 12:16]

It's interesting not to mention quite wonderful for some of us to be thinking so positively. I'm inclined to agree with Wessex - playoffs at best - although I'm more of the opinion that a top half finish is the most likely scenario - and indeed - one that I'd be thrilled with. Of course my protective realism could be swept away were we to win well at Notts County and beat Wimbledon and Port Vale at home because those three look likely promotion sides. Were that to happen my optimism would grow exponentially! Currently I'd be pleased with a point at Carlisle, it's a long journey, we rarely do well there and they've a new manager desperate to drag them to safety. We know that feeling all too well. Happy to be very wrong though!! Up the will they can they but ultimately safe already U's !! | ![](/images/avatars/19520.gif) |

Carlisle are bottom for a reason, but I suspect they'll give us a tougher game than top of the table Walsall did. I'd take a point right now for sure. | ![](/images/avatars/1046.gif) |

97 minutes that I will never get back. Port Vale look as though they have won but frankly a lack of quality from both teams in the final third. No creativity, poor football. Up the U's | ![](/images/avatars/1043.gif) |
