Well it was a bit better 2nd half, I think Chair needs to start against Norwich. We can get away with Morgan Fox for 20-45 minutes but geez is he a liability the number of times there forwards ran in behind him, and that was even with us camped in our box at times.
I dont think we can afford Morrison and Cook out long term and we certainly can't play rope-a-dope without them so maybe we need to add centre back to the shopping list with left back and striker |  | | |

Thankfully they put the cue on the rack second half and saved us from the shellac king we deserved. Expect to see a response at Norwich...if not points. Performance in that first half was totally unacceptable. | | | |

We've picked up a few points of late, and had one or two decent performances/halves along the way, but we've also had the sub-Ainsworthian Bristol showing, the frightening first half against Oxford, and now, bar at most a quarter of an hour which was a bit better (but during which we still couldn't fashion a shot on target), this unwatchable garbage. So, no, Strikerace, all teams, or even most teams, don't sink to the nadirs we seem only too able to!
The next two games will tell us a great deal about both the players and the coaching team. Set dials to 'apprehensive' and buckle in, folks! [Post edited 26 Dec 17:12]

Swansea get their first win on Boxing Day since their last win on Boxing Day 2-0 against us naturally. To go since 1967 without an away win on Boxing day is a damn fine achievement by us. It makes you wonder if our training program involves the players sitting at home Christmas Day stuffing their faces. So predictable that everyone we play away on this date expect to have your Christmas spoilt.
We have recently got away with poor starts but not today and it is a reminder that we are not safe from the drop. |  | | |
