Nearly all of the east stand from the 18 yard back to the goal line disagreed , vehemently. My son who watched it on the TV thought the 3rd was marginally , I thought 3rd and 4th were but in fairness to Leeds thy were so quick to break I was glad I didn't have to make that call.

Can't argue naivety cost us.
It was a tough swallow Ray. I thought we battled well but at crucial times we some,y gave Leeds chances to kill us. They are a good side but not brilliant and if they go up they will come straight back down. We did better We went forward We had some shots at goal Then we blow away all the good work. the problem is there are many who want that. Today was a great game of football....as has been said we went toe to toe with the team sitting g top of the league. Tymon isn't really a full back though, more a wing back that said he should know how to defend and do those duties, Easiest game James has played in for years I'm confident in saying.

He's trying to phrase it in a way that gives him an out, but realistically, "asking if we can do better" is basically saying that he wants a new manager no matter how it's put.

Good game of football that we were ahead in twice and even got back into with the third but you have to look at a couple of things Leeds left themselves open at the back as did we, both teams pushed their fullbacks on high up the pitch both benefitting by scoring but we really need to think about how we defend and don't over commit when we ahead in games, we realy didn't need to overcommit to leave ourselves exposed Leed were making the same mistake as well. If any of you went to see the Gillingham game we went two nil up but still tried to get forward at ever opportunity and we left ourselves open to counter attacks, they scored one and we got away with not conceding a second then scored in the last minute to make a respectable 3-1 result which could have gone awry. Looking at todays game after our first goal the ball over the top to Ronald was on because Leeds fullback was pushed up and yet we got caught on the ball with our defence pushed high, were their other goals conceded by us in similar manner. We have said we haven't got goals in us, we scored three, we have said we are defending well but conceded four. Game management really needs to be looked at, if you know the opposition wingers are quick you have to negate that area of their play, we didn't and paid the price. Yes Leeds are top but their managers teams and style of have been exposed over the years. We did it today but we also left ourselves exposed, another game which we should of have at least a point or three but are left with no points.

Was anyone expecting such an open game when two of the best defensive teams go at each other? I really enjoyed the game despite another gut wrenching injury time defeat. The way we didn't over celebrate our third goal and the way they rushed back to halfway they gave the impression. Hey we can win this. I cannot look for a scapegoat for losing a great game like this. The last 3-4 games have IMO shown great progress. Keep it going lads.

Some of Tymon's crosses were staggeringly good. Best left foot at the club since Bidwell.

Both fullbacks good in attack. They both need to learn defensive duties though.
