Swansea City v Bristol City : Match day thread : SUNDAY ! 13:39 - Sep 23 with 20403 viewsModeratorC

Oh what a huge derby game for the smaller Welsh clubs.

It’s on a Sunday, 3pm KO.

And it’s LIVE on Sky as the featured game.

They have sold out their allocation and their travelling support will be well up for it - do not forget - beat us and they go above us in the league

I would say the ticket allocation was either 985, or the 1,800 we offer, not sure which.

Sold out the 1,800. We need to start well to keep them quiet.

I think it will be the save as the last two games. We’ll take control early in the first half and will have chances. We won’t maintain the intensity though and they’ll get back into it. Backs to the wall towards the end, especially if we’re winning.

Drinking the Kool Aid is a term that came from the Jim Jones cult tragedy in the 1970s.

I remember watching this documentary on BBC and actual footage and the audible of the massacre, what a bonkers thing that happened all very sad

Happy to see a positive attacking display but want to ensure both Key and Tymon make sure that the defensive side of the game is switched on also hope they give space to and get the ball to the wingers early, if our midfield is pushed on they can initially support the wingers.
As for a three goal margin it would be nice to overhaul Sheff Utd but get the game won first, there is always Wednesday to jump into the top 6, away from home would also make a big statement.

Sky? Awfully negative about us and our chances.

Only one way to shut them up.

And they’re building up a pretty non-existent England - Wales rivalry.

Decent for sure, but Darling is getting on my nerves, slowing play down.

It's been mostly a very lively pace with both clubs playing open and aggressive.

Cooper has been excellent. Nearly scored a spectacular goal but it hit the woodwork. Bristol City has also hit the woodwork. One great save by Vigouroux.

I am fed up of playing the ball back constantly. Four in the box and it goes back to Darling on halfway!
1-0 up but my frustrations are showing

So far, so good, and yet 70% possession but fewer shots than Bristol City. I think we will do well to hang on for a win.

It’s because it’s 1-0 and we’re playing this way that I’m getting frustrated. It’s just inviting them into us. We need a second then maybe we can try and snuff the game out.
