What strikes me as the difference with October 7th is that all Israelis who fell into the Hamas net were either killed or taken hostage (and in a ratio of nearly 5 to 1). No women or children were released to flee. The armed militants did not walk past civilians leaving them alive as the IDF are doing for much of the time (and accepting that there have been some abuses). | | | |
