seemed weird that they changed the socks (obviously because of a clash with Burnley home) but did not bother with the shorts (which were both white)... As mentioned should have been the same blue as the blue on the hoops.
I remember this hybrid from Palace away many years ago... probably my favourite non standard colour combo.

I rather like dark socks. Sevilla's all-white kit with black socks looks really good, as did Swansea's back in the day.
If we stuck with dark blue socks it could be used as a third trim colour on the shirts. In the same way red has recently. |

Odd though as we usually have blue shorts and socks (same blue as the hoops) to wear in away matches when this issue arises.
I can only assume the kit man forgot to pack them?
