Good to see Wales online are monitoring this board.

https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/swansea-city-transfer

Grimes,as Ive suggested before,is the root of our problems made wore by the coch eeing him as undroppable or even subbed. Downes has been subbed before Grimes.Downes is the player Prem Leagues clubs are looking at,not Grimes.Pretty stark facts .

Martin has turned him from an unwanted league 1 player into a Premier league one.

£10 million profit not a bad bit of business in 12 months

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game
Poll: Happy to see Martin go

Such a pity they didn't offer £10 million for the senior and much lauded Matt Grimes.............

We could have kept the both of them then and enjoyed our football next season to boot!

100%

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Some would say that RM had nothing to do with flynns, oba and piroes progression.

He was only "unwanted" because he wasn't signing a new contract and had made his intentions to leave very clear. He wasn't training with the reserves because they thought he was rubbish.

Depends how he is replaced.
Ipswich will be taken a wedge from us so we should ensure he really does not go cheap. West Ham will have a fine young prospect who will be an England international.

It is .
We can't turn that profit down.
Now,as I say,it is all a bout how we invest it.
Downes was often periferal last season ,and we didnt see the best of him.West Ham obviously see him as a potential stella player

Periferal?

He played almost every minute he was fit for. Covid hit him for six and there was that whack he took to his hip but apart from that he was one of the first names on the sheet.

Yes,periferal a a sweeper when he should have been central-he is that quality -and we misused him,so yes periferal and one who was first to be subbed in several games.
Rest Assured,Moyes will bring this lad on big time and it won't be a sweeper to cover for an excreable goalkeeper.

Depends on the arrangement for the agent. Swansea have been very clever with some deals, clauses like the agent gets their money from the signing on fee and the salary offered by the buying club.

But these things are rarely disclosed until end of year disclosures are made and then it’s just ‘agents fees’ it’s a web of stuff.

Hopefully we are as clever on the flip side and ask West Ham for a sizeable chunk up front rather than having to loan cash against future payments again

9.2 million rising to 14 million is the deal.

5 year deal.
RM must get praise for this.
Good luck to the boy.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I based my figures on 10% being payable to Ipswich.
One Ipswich news outlet however is stating it could be as high as 20 to 25% hence the 2 million mentioned.
Anybody know what it is?

Well Martin persuaded him to come here over the other interested clubs

You seem to have a pretty high opinion of yourself.
