Thoughts?

New nuclear reactors = Good. No other currently existing technology comes even close to providing the regular, reliable power supply needed if we're going to hit decarbonisation targets. The mini-reactors especially are an exciting technology.

Offshore wind farms = Also good. There is a wealth of experience and capability in the UK for maintaining offshore installations gleaned from 40+ years of North Sea oil. Not a single wind farm should be opened on land until the possibilities of offshoring them have been exhausted.

Hydrogen = on the face of it it's slightly insane that so little progress has been made Globally in fully harnessing the potential of the most abundant substance in the Universe. Big room for improvement here.

In general the move towards becoming largely self sufficient with the fossil fuels we're still going to need to use is also a good idea, but I do forsee issues with the oil companies. They're not going to want to sell expensively discovered and extracted oil and gas at a discount.

Disappointing not to see a requirement for all new housing and buildings to have at least some solar generating capacity though. The technology is proven and not that expensive. That and moves towards improvements in insulation.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Did you actually read the post it was about solar not nuclear.

I think you will find a lot of people would welcome thousands of well paid jobs that will come to Wales during construction of a new nuclear power station as well as well paid jobs running it.

Wales needs investments and jobs.

Only the greens and PC are against investment and progress.

Renewable energy jobs for Wales only.
