If Martin were to leave in the next few weeks - who are the realistic replacements? (assuming we won't be paying another club compensation). Is there anyone obvious?

Isn’t that what our CEO should be looking at. There are many who would jump at the chance to manage us We should not sell ourselves short We are too big for Martin ,for sure

A fair comment but look at the players the new man would have at his disposal. I think there’s 50% more to get out of this side - a good man manager with an ounce of tactical nous would get this side playing good exciting football again and put some smiles back on the players faces.
In the summer we’d lost Ayew and a few others so I can understand the reluctance back then. Now we’ve got a great striker and Oba hitting form, a well stocked midfield with a great youngster in Downes plus some talented others, defence needs some work but a few decent managers could get a stinking tune out of these players.
Each time I go to Bedd - au........................

Wunter doesn't inspire.
Liam Manning seems like a proper Swansea City type. Sleeves up, hard working, no frills young manager that ticks our boxes, unlike Martin.
'Â Having finished 19th and 13th in their last two seasons, Manning has MK Dons in third after eight months in charge. If they can beat Rotherham this weekend, they still have an outside shot of automatic promotion. '
'Â MK Dons rank second for possession in League One and like to press intensely high up the pitch.'
' Rather than a set style or a prescriptive way of instructing players to operate, the key lies in an empowerment of decision making.'
'Â If you teach them a possession-based game, say, and then a player makes a run into space but they are ignored because they have been taught to keep the ball, you have taken away their ability to make the right decision. '
They did beat table topping Rotherham 2-1 away.

If ever there was a timely lesson for Martine, Page was it.
In so many ways.
34% possession, yet a determination to get on the front foot and 'Dominate' the game - almost 100% more shots on target.
Dominating the game with a sense of purpose, shots and goals. Not possession for possession sake.
It ain't rocket science, Martine.

It's not levity, he's trying to be vaguely insulting.
Tell you what then, I SHALL just refer to him as Mandy from now on and it's all about levity, how's that for you?
Morning. Fine with me Sir. Mandy to me means Mandleson . Just finished his autibiography. Only bought it for two quid in charity shop. I like a bath but get bored and a good book helps l Mandy s book was shite .
I think AC is in the genesis stage of writing his own . It ll be a killing read .
It won’t surprise me to read Mr Martin enjoying early morning swims in Gorgeous Gower from his equally gorgeous home base . Yep,he loves the city, people, fans and the stadium cat .
And in future, call me Doris . I ve rejected my birth name

Hasnt he gone yet?
He will want to meet up with Sir Elton and his husband David Furnish at least I would imagine. Marin will want to recycle a lot of Elton's glittery waste and sell his used doc Martins for charity.

How is that trolling or having a dig?
I am adding to the debate by mentioning that people can access the site at the game, and often do.
Maybe PM him if you don’t want anyone else to join in.
