Agree that Martin's tactics aren't helping him, but he was the same under Cooper ?
Fans were saying the same last season and although the personnel around him and manager have changed, he is still the same one footed, defence minded player he was last season
Today he even made a brilliant sideways pass on the edge of our 18 yard box under no pressure to set up one of their players to shoot.

The team is shite.
I remember coaching an excellent little player who was from a rural community and played for a team who struggled for both numbers and talent. He was trying to carry half a dozen boys on his back every time he took the field...if stats were available I'm sure his wouldn't have looked too great.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching him totally dominate the opposition (many of whom were used to thrashing his team) when selecting him in a team where everybody could play though.
This is a team sport, it is hard to shine when an incompetent coach has hamstrung the team and is refusing to alter course.
Rees-Zammet looks electric in the English Premiership, but put him in a team (Wales) that never give him the ball and he will look average. | |

regroup to defend further up the pitch.Better than in our own box.
We could pas the ball forward and have players quit repeating what Grimes does and that is to pass then receive it back immediately then to pass it again. No need for this nonsense at all.
Then ,we could instruct players to shoot at goal.
We could even practice this at training
We could even quit the nonsense of asuming Manning is a left back and Burns a right back. | |
