Here’s one, Preston away 1981, gear box has gone, literally, on our car back to Haverfordwest, we are holding it up through the floor with several Tesco bags, we stop in Shropshire, the car is going best at 5mph, we park up.

Yeah it’s the best the Beeb has done in years. On paper it’s the most boring show in the world but when you watch it it’s genuinely warm, thought provoking and generally uplifting. | |
