Faux-leftie. Nazi-enabler. i’m not really abusing you, fella’, it’s an experiment. I just want to see how long a thread will last if it contains anything other than platitudes?

Post-1960 you could make a better case for Jewry being an integral facet of conservatism. I could do that quite easily but seeing as this is the forum’s Night of the Long Knives is it worth the time to type it out?

That is true. A Lawson for a Kaufman so to speak. There are strong links to both capitalism and socialism as there are in any population. My grandfather served from 1936 until 1947. Last few years as an MP in Palestine. I visited Israel about 10 years ago. We both did not overly enjoy the experience, as fascinating as it was. The experience means I would never blame or support either side in any argument. Both have rights, both do bad things. Met some lovely people, Met some horrible people. Same as anywhere

Red cap! He was from Spalding, Lincolnshire. Bulb country. Met my grandmother during rehabilitation in South Wales. Shot in buttocks in the Netherlands supporting Market Garden in 1944. Stayed on as Staff Sargeant post war. Guess scooped as MP as experienced NCO | | | | Login to get fewer ads

My great-grandfather was a Cornishman wounded on the Somme, my great grandmother was a nurse in Neath hospital. I suppose if he hadn’t been shot I wouldn’t be here. My grandfather, three of his brothers and half the Legion bar when I first started going out all served in Palestine.

Chinese Alan on 21:54 - Jun 13 by Garyjack | Fawlty Towers was complete garbage, as was 90% of Monty Python, apart from The Life of Brian which was only 50% shite. Special mentions also to Not the Nine o'clock News, Although Griffith Rhys Jones and Mel Smith did redeem themselves somewhat in later years. |
"The Life of Brian which was only 50% shite." Fcking splitter! Actually, no!...you fcking idiot.

The trouble is Warwick is that there are enough simpletons about who actually believes Warren Mitchell really is that character, when in reality, Mitchell despises that character.
