Why did you pick your photograph 03:13 - Jun 5 with 11812 views | Glyn1 | I've always been curious about why people choose their particular photograph to go with their posts. And why some people don't put any photo up. Even if you're choosing one of your own photos, you're making a decision about whether to post one from when you were younger or as you are today, and that's interesting. Lord Bony's was of Peter Cushing, and I've no idea why, Darran for example posted a photo of him that would have been a great icon. Mine is simple enough, I grew up in Gowerton and that's an Irish Water Spaniel (the largest of the spaniels) that reminds me of long, hot summers and splashing around in rivers. So Karnataka, Lohengrin and everyone else, what's the story behind the photo? And I've always wondered why Lohengrin's pic is Godfrey from Dad's Army. https://spartacus-educational.com/FWWridleyA.htm [Post edited 5 Jun 2020 3:19]

Why did you pick your photograph on 18:16 - Jun 5 with 1845 views | Pegojack | I was/am a big John Sparkes fan and thought Siadwell was a bit of a Swansea icon. Planet Swans threads often remind me of his monologues.
Why did you pick your photograph on 18:35 - Jun 5 with 1808 views | legoman | Well mine's pretty obvious! Funnily enough only yesterday I was going to start a thread that asked folks how they came up with their PS name. Mine was as a result of a mate at work who took the pee out of the shape of my head and hairstyle and used to call me Legoman Haircut. What about others on here?

Despite being banished from Bergen Town, she continued a relentless search for the Trolls that lasted 20 years, and was finally rewarded when she spotted fireworks from a party to celebrate Poppy's 20th birthday. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I started a thread years ago (before this ‘new’ Windows 95 forum) on usernames and it didn’t get much attention. Anyway. My pic is ‘legendary’ Swansea striker Steve Watkin.

I liked John Sparkes too. Hey, maybe you can replace Siadwell with a pic of Bert B@stard when you get a bit older! Another great character.

The OP has something in common with John Sparkes and that is Gowerton, it's where he grew up, as did I. Still here now! My picture is Pat Mustard, the horny Milkman on Craggy Island. Father Ted being my favourite comedy and Mustard being one of my favourite characters...

Congratulations, you definitely win the "weirdness title" of this thread. Nice photo though. Not judging you, oh no.

Why did you pick your photograph on 01:05 - Jun 6 with 1489 views | Lohengrin | Not really too much of a back story to my choice I’m afraid, Glyn. I just felt like changing whatever avatar I’d been using at the time as it had been in use for quite a while and opted for Arnold Ridley as I was most of the way through reading this:

Blimey, didn’t realise that was Arnold Ridley in your pic. Would you recommend the book, Loh?
