I don't understand the speculation that has linked us with Adam Matthews from Sunderland, Adam Maher from AZ Alkmaar and Liam Kelly from Livingstone.
Matthews is a RB where we have Furlong, Rangel and Kakay
Maher is a midfielder where, even if Freeman goes, we're not short of options.
Kelly is a keeper. We have Lumley, Ingram and Dieng, unless the latter goes to Glasgow Rangers. |  |

The thing is though, the fact we consistently seem to sign Brentford's best couple of players and their captain most years, results in their fans despising us still further and ratchets up the pressure even more.
That's fine and dandy when it's Martin Rowlands coming over and we're divisions ahead of Brentford and walloping them. In fact, i've always taken a spiteful pleasure in their outrage each year when their favourites join us. And Fulham. Damn.
Now, when they tend to humiliate us at least twice each season, home or away, it doesn't half make me squirm uncomfortably knowing they are laughing and doing so with their most expensive players playing for QPR. Makes us seem really desperate and really sh!t. If i was Jake Bidwell, i think i'd be having nightmares about that Jota fcuker or whatever he's called for years to come. I think in hindsight it would have been better for Jake to have head butted him and taken a red card. |  | | |

I'm a little wary of Stoke now. The signings maybe don't scan impressively but they're all specialist types signed purposefully by a coach with a very defined system. Wing back centric, ball playing CBs, high press, all quite reminiscent of Sheff U and Wilder last season. | | | |

Given the clusterfck at Charlton, plus Millwall losing both Morison and Gregory, I'd be looking at a bottom 3 of Charlton, Barnsley, Millwall. But, we still need some strengthening if we aren't to make it any 3 from 4. | |
