VPN and Virgin Media 17:41 - Apr 6 with 2668 views | jedijack | Hi all, Just thought I'd pass on something I found out today, just in case anybody starts to have the same issue and I'm guessing they will. Over this last week or so, browsing has been incredibly slow when using VPN. Streams have taken a long time to connect but then work fine, but browsing the internet has been painfully (almost to the point of un-usable) slow. It looks as if VM are playing funny buggers with VPN and their DNS servers. I've seen today, a 10 second delay with resolution occurring, this only happens with VPN enabled. To fix this, specifiy another DNS server. Google works fine (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). This has only occurred within the last week for me so I'm guessing they're tryng to work around streaming and VPN use. I always change my DNS servers but must have overlooked it the last time I flashed my router. If you're seeing symptoms as described, this will fix it..

What you talking bout willis? If you don't know what it means then ignore the thread. All the info is in the title to enable people to ignore easily, without needing to waste a click. Was worth posting if it helps a single 'VM' (You like what I did there?) user
