Yes. It's on two separate threads on here, on the o/s, on Twitter and on Facebook. So you now have no excuse not to turn up on Saturday. Good effort though.

If they did that what would be the point of announcing it was all ticket in the first place? Fully expect Latics to be pay on the day too. All the admin fees must mount up by the end of the season. Nice little earner and effectively another price increase by stealth.

The maximum ticket allocation was released to Oldham but they did not sell the allocation. Due to this, the police changed it to pay-on-the-day at short notice.">> From March 2016: http://www.daletrust.co.uk/2016/03/meeting-with-the-board-march-2016/ <<"Why do we make games all ticket (e.g. bury) when we KNOW they are not going to bring more than 3000 fans? Is it on Police "advice"? If it is are we forced to comply with this "advice". If we don't follow the "advice" what are the repercussions? Classing these games as all-ticket then changing at the last minute (by which time the "possibles" would probably have made alternative arrangements) surely costs the club money. Sorry one more question on this subject - what exactly is the point of making it all ticket for away fans only? Surely you are just encouraging away supporters to buy a ticket on the day for the home ends - shouldn't it be all-ticket for everyone or no one at all? Reply: First of all, it was stated that it was only last season that Oldham brought more supporters than we could accommodate and this led to trouble inside the ground. The club stated that they never wanted games to be all ticket matches, but the safety of supporters will always be the number one priority. All designated matches were selected with that in mind, and for the larger crowds, it is operationally easier when supporters have tickets. The Trust questioned about whether Police advice was Police advice or Police orders. The final decision would always come down to the club, but if the Police were not satisfied with the plans in place, they could approach the Council to have the Safety Certificate withdrawn for a fixture.">> So did the club select the matches last season or does the decision rest with the police?!? Also from that: <<"The admin charge on telephone orders is to ensure that it matches exactly the same administration charge made on tickets purchased via the internet (the club don’t receive any of the admin fee on the internet ticketing). The Trust stated that a lot of the frustration recently stemmed from the administration fees being charged only to have the game losing its all ticket status a day or two later.">> Is the admin charge on tickets bought online exactly the same? No disrespect 442, but heard and read all the "reasons/excuses" before and I'm not impressed. I understand the clubs position. I think the club fails to understand the position of a lot of fans. Bottom line: Ever lower attendances, current pricing is unattractive to many and all ticket games are more expensive to non-ST holders (either have to drive to ground = time/cost penalty, or phone up/internet + fees). It's a further disincentive. You can dress it up anyway you like, but it's more expensive than a normal game to get in one way or the other and all options involve varying degrees of extra effort. The club could waive fees for all-ticket games, or reduce admission by a pound. You reap what you sow. Fortunately, most people know the ropes from past experience, but there are still plenty caught out and unimpressed. Encouragement vs. discouragement.

Yes. It's for people to read the info and establish what exactly those answers to the questions mean. Though I do agree with a lot of the other points raised by Dalei, the issue remains that answers in the past illustrate that more needs to be done to ensure supporters are listened to.

Apologies - yes - guilty of scan reading it too fast whilst trying to do other things and misinterpreted your post. I can't commit to going until tomorrow or even Saturday for definite anyway. Had it been all ticket I almost certainly wouldn't have gone, but now it isn't I have a fair shot. Sure a few others are in the same boat, but everyone has different circs. Like everyone else, I just want as many Daleys in San Spotty as poss.

Seriously, wtf is the extra admin work going on there (if that's what they're still labeling it as), you collect the tickets in person. At least call it p&p if you need to send them via post.

This hurts but I'm boycotting the Oldham game just to show the club that they can't rip fans off like this, so yes they got my administration fee but they will loose £44 from 2 people that will not be travelling from Sheffield.

This sort of thing should be addressed, not fobbed off as an inconvenience when they're asked about it.

Don't understand this whole admin fee scam,it's a ticket office with employed staff to specifically sell tickets, surely that's in their job description and not an addition to their usual work anyway!!?

Dont you realise the club must be having to employ extra staff to cope with the demand for tickets for this game. Watch this months unemployment figures slump thanks to Dale versus Heywood North End.

I think they've painted themselves into a corner on this one. As 442 pointed out above the club stated "The admin charge on telephone orders is to ensure that it matches exactly the same administration charge made on tickets purchased via the internet (the club don’t receive any of the admin fee on the internet ticketing)" So, as I understand it, a deal was done with a third party co. to sell tickets on-line with a £1 surcharge which the third party co. takes. In order that the telephone sales don't undercut the on-line ticketing, RAFC slaps a £1 charge on it to match the on-line surcharge. You couldn't make this sh1t up? I'm sure there'll be a good excuse why we can't administer our own on-line ticketing, but doesn't stop all-ticket games being more expensive to watch for non-ST holders/anyone not buying from the box office and it's putting fans off. Like I said, you reap what you sow .
