"When Saturday Comes - fag ends from Osbourne" 21:25 - Apr 2 with 935 views | Osbourne | "OSBOURNE'S OBSERVATIONS prior to the Bolton v Pool fixture, Saturday 4.4.15." It is essential that Rotherham lose away at Birmingham tomorrow. How long can Pool keep the "survival game" alive? Rotherham have 40 points now. Wigan 35, Millwall 33 and Pool 23. Wigan and Millwall can be relied upon to bungle. Millwall have no manager and Malky at Wigan is more interested in the colour of his mobile phone and applying his after shave than winning football matches. It is Rotherham who are the problem. Their remaining fixtures are : Birmingham away on Easter Friday, Brighton at home on Easter Monday. The following Saturday Middlesbrough away. Pool play Bolton away on Easter Saturday, Reading at home on Tuesday evening. The following Saturday Ipswich away. Having got through those matches, still with a fighting chance of survival, Pool then have to play : Derby, Fulham, Cardiff and Huddersfield. Rotherham still have to play : Fulham, Norwich, Reading and Leeds. Osbourne suggests that Pool can beat Bolton, Reading and Ipswich. That would leave Pool with 32 points. If Rotherham bungle, then Pool are still in the mix come the last 4 matches of the season. Pool side for Bolton? Well they have had 2 weeks to think about it. Squad v Leeds on Saturday 21.3.15 was as follows : Lewis. Hall - Clarke - O'Dea - Dunne Cubero. Orlandi - Addison - Perkins - Jacobs. Madine. Bench : Aldred - Delfouneso - Oliver - Parish - Ferguson - Telford - Osavi-Samuel. O'Hara is apparently fit again. Addison loaned to Pool till the end of the season. But, McMahon has been loaned out to Bradford to the end of the season. It will be interesting to see which starting XI and formation Mr Clark goes with. Mr Clark, Osbourne says, "Pool must win." Osbourne of course has every confidence that Pool can still pull this off. Just how long can Pool keep the "survival game" alive? If Pool keep winning and Rotherham, Wigan and Millwall bungle, Osbourne thinks it can go right to the Huddersfield game. Osbourne's "fag ends" are still glowing. Let's hope they are not stamped out on Saturday in Bolton. Then onwards, just pick them off one by one Mr Clark and hope that Rotherham, Millwall and Wigan bungle. Cheer O. Osbourne's "fag ends are still burning."
"When Saturday Comes - fag ends from Osbourne" on 07:18 - Apr 3 with 910 views | Osbourne | Osbourne here again, Whilst the Pool "survival game" is burning, lets have a look at who each of the 4 relegation candidates have got left to play : Pool, assuming that Rotherham are not going to lose all their remaining games have got to win 7/7 now for the 21 points on offer to get to the total of 44. Pool, in order play the following : Bolton, Reading, Ipswich, Derby, Fulham, Cardiff and Huddersfield. Rotherham play : Birmingham, Brighton, Middlesbrough, Fulham, Norwich, Reading and Leeds. Wigan play : Middlesbrough, Derby, Fulham, Millwall, Brighton, Wolves and Brentford. Millwall play : Charlton, Watford, Wigan, Cardiff, Blackburn, Derby, and Wolves. Well, at least Pool's "survival game" is transparent. Pool have got to win all 7. Even then, 2 wins, or possibly a win and a draw for Rotherham and whatever Pool do, Pool's "survival game" terminates. The Championship "trap door" opens and Pool go tumbling through it into the mix of Division One 2015-16. Osbourne hopes that some motivator with access to the dressing room understands this and that Pool go all out to pick these wins off one by one. Pretty little draws are no good now. Take the games to the opposition, score the goals and hope that the "formation of the planets" cause a bungle from Rotherham. The longer the "survival game" lasts, the more Rotherham will panic. Osbourne's inspiration - "Pool are still in with a fighting chance."

Osbourne here, Rotherham have lost today (Friday 3.4.15), lost 2-1 away at Birmingham. Wigan have lost as well, lost 1-0 away at Middlesbrough. However, Millwall have won, 2-1 at home to Charlton. Rotherham now still have 40 points, Millwall 36, Wigan 35 and Pool 23. Pool now need to win their game tomorrow at Bolton. Pool's "survival game" could run and run. Pity Millwall got 3 points today, but they still only have 36 points and have leap frogged Wigan on 35. Osbourne's fag end is still definitely alight. "Eat, drink and be merry as tomorrow Pool cannot die." Cheer O.

Since1967, Osbourne here, Just the two of us then! You will have to do a lot better than that to get into "Osbourne's Black Book." Infact, it is going to be virtually impossible for you to get in there. Osbourne is very fair and takes past posting history into account before depositing posters in it. So, even if you want to go in it, you can't. You are Tangerine. Besides, don't spoil Osbourne's fun. Pool aren't relegated yet. "Eat, drink and be merry, Pool can't be relegated at Bolton." Could Osbourne still be having his fun come the Huddersfield game? Probably not. However, that Evans manager at Rotherham blames the referee for losing at Birmingham yesterday. It is called "Pressure." Cheer O, Osbourne was looking at the formation of the planets last night. They seemed to be in a 4-1-4-1 formation, which would indicate Pool's first win on the road comes on Easter Saturday. No doubt Osbourne will be back on this thread tonight! or Then Rotherham v Brighton Easter Monday and Pool v Reading Tuesday night. Osbourne's demise. But not yet. Let Osbourne have his fun. If Osbourne was managing this bunch, Pool would not be in this sorry mess................................................ How could the "hierarchy not of learnt from Wigan away 2013-14?" "Pool were lucky, lucky, lucky." on, or are they - Davies, McMahon, not playing Clarke, not playing Lewis, Miller, Murphy it goes on and on... "We are preparing for next season." Blimey, what about this season? [Post edited 4 Apr 2015 11:55]
