Election 2015 Thread : Who will you vote for ? on 08:16 - Mar 13 by acejack3065
Wasting money isn't something that's party political. It's usually down to the misguided efforts of some quim politician and the complete set of cretins that their relying on around them. Governments always end up wasting money on vanity projects and IT f**k ups. Look at Ian Duncan Smiths Universal Credit scheme. Universal credit isn't actually a bad idea as such but the IT capabilities of delivering it are riddled with technical issues have proven to be exceptionally expensive.
Governments always tell us to tighten our belts whilst simultaneously pouring our money into a shredder. It's bare faced hypocrisy and it's one of the reasons on an ever growing list as to why people are becoming disenfranchised with politics.
Speaking of Universal Credit, did anyone catch this recently. This is being rolled out in Neath and Port Talbot from next month. You can draw your own conclusions.
Do people never learn? Every time a 'new' party emerges they think, "I'll give them a go then."
They thought it with that venomous little toad Shirley Williams and her ridiculous gang; they thought it with Pantsdown and his 'new' LibDems. Even Respect got a few votes.
UKIP stand for bigotry, ugliness, indecency in every aspect of life. What's new?
I do understand that Labour and the Tories are helplessly incompetent and self-serving, but at least they historically stand for values of some sort. You have to vote (reluctantly) for Labour because they occasionally pretend to be doing something for decent people .

An generic response to a specific question. No offence, you'll be voting labour, history says so.

I've been posting on/off for the best part of 7 years and I've never hid or tried to mask my political opinions. I've said previously I'm a Labour Party member so I will be voting Labour in Llwchwr Community Hall on May 7th.
It wasn't a non statement. People don't go into politics to waste money. Beurocracy and crap staff slow down the best of ideas but that doesn't mean people shouldn't be scrutinised or held accountable.

It probably wouldn't be funny if this was an accurate national poll ....
If the percentages in this poll were repeated nationwide on 7 May, Ukip would have about 30-40 seats. Maybe less. You're wrong, it'd be hilarious. But it may wake the populace up and make them realise that the electoral system we use for Westminster elections is an affront to democracy.
The Tories took nearly a 7 point lead out of the last election but no majority. The best anyone can hope for at the minute is being the largest party. The Tories will have to be as they have run out of coalition partners.
Put some money on an autumn election.

The Tories need about 40% to get a majority, Labour about 36%. Neither is going to happen, politics is too fragmented now with the rise of UKIP and the SNP. It may be a while before we see another majority government and that's no bad thing. The fact that a government (of any party) can force its programme through with a whacking parliamentary majority when 60% of people didn't vote for it is and always has been a travesty. "Elected dictatorships" Lord Hailsham called them. And he was right.

Just take a step back now and pretend all you can see are the parties opinions,
the any socialist would vote either plaid or green.
I realise that they aren't the best at live interviews but is that what we are voting them in for, its their policies.
I watched ed balls and Caesar this morning on the andrew marr show and they didn't answer loads of the questions that he was asking, I thought why are they actually on the show? Those 2 are best of mates, the whole political thing is a game to them.
Look at Geoff Hoon man he was a labour man now hes left politics and hes a CEO on a defense company, so decisions that he made during his time in parliament are now going to benefit him financially, that's got to be corrupt, look at Tory Blair how much money is he making its a disgrace hes supposed to be a socialist nu labour man.
These people you support or vote for, they are playing a game and you lot are the prawns they don't care if they lose a few of you as long as they save their queen

Is there an option to colour your options ? I didn't see one.

There'll be plenty of info and sources of info out there. There's no reason to not be informed.
I don't care enough to get informed. A lot of young people are the same out of those who vote I doubt many will know much about what they're actually voting for.

Not voting, refuse to vote blindly when I'm not informed enough.
Which is precisely why any sane system would replace the geographical franchise with an occupational variant allowing you to vote for a candidate within your sphere of experience.
An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.

Type in Ukip policies, Conservative policies, Labour policies, Lib Dem policies..
The only policies they're interested in is the money ones.. Just like the whole world populace!
The awkward moment when a Welsh Club become the Champions of England.. shh
The Swansea Way.. To upset the odds.
