Interesting listening to Clark yesterday saying the players didn't follow orders in the first half and am just wondering if we have a team of overly defensive players or they just don't listen to instructions. Seems to me the best thing that happened yesterday was Perks going off and replaced by Orlandi who is at least forward thinking.
In fairness in the first half all Clark was doing was trying to get them further up the field but there is a real sense of 'concede first and we'll lose' about the team which means they won't go forward.

There was no shape at all, with Mellis providing Dunne with no protection at all. Mellis is good on the ball, but defensively, he's as much use as a chocolate tea pot.
Perkins going off allowed O'Hara a bit more space and time to play his game as well.
What we've missed all season is a midfielder who takes a run beyond the forwards. That's why we haven't scored from midfield.
