Staying slightly off thread, as we haven't had a thread mentioning our neighbours for a while, there are many on here who have never experienced the joy of our club being run by a sole owner. We had a once in a lifetime opportunity to change things when the cost of doing so was not prohibitive. Once you move up the leagues, or a club gets into serious debt, the money required to make that change gets beyond the means of almost all local people and fans and you get stuck with an owner for good or for bad. This means that in the main fans have to make the best of a situation. Wimbledon are another exception as their club was allowed to be relocated by the football league. For their next trick the dole crew will place stickers proclaiming that they are Cardiff City and do what Mr Tan wants on the gates of legoland. | | | |

Struggle to change that stretch of coastline with a 100 megaton weapon.
This thread has got Scooby Doo wound up a bit. He's had to resort to saying about an Opera house for one upmanship.
Makes a pleasant change from crowd capacity or winning the FA Cup (in the days when even the world had good taste and was in black and white) I s'pose.
Not overly keen on the Opera myself, but would go over to London and see world famous performers if I was.
Besides SD, how can you afford to go to the Opera when you're having to park your horse opposite Tremorfa works, down towards the sewage works?
Can't even get to live near some decent pasture land for it to enjoy its' old age.
One question though.
