Sign him up, send him on loan to play reguarly with a recall clause we can exercise at any point. Next year (Greens last year of contract), depending on how he performs when on loan, make him number 2 with the idea of becoming our first choice keeper once Green has run his contract down and retired / fcked off/ become a coach.
This would be a rare example of forethought and planning, assuring us a good goalkeeper for the next 5 - 10 years. |  |
