Swans head coach, Luke Williams revealed some good news for this weekend, not for squad inclusion but Josh Ginnelly is back in training. The player the club signed from Hearts in the summer of 2023 has again reached the milestone of being back in the fold.

A change of logistics meant the Swansea squad travelled by coach yesterday afternoon to fulfil this fixture in amongst extreme weather warnings across the south of the country this weekend. We did question the reasoning behind no supporter information forthcoming from the club on Twitter. A few there not grasping the significance of supporter consideration. Here’s hoping now that hundreds have committed to plans, hotels, and long distances the game doesn’t hit the rocks this morning. Of course those who are funded by mum and dad didn’t get that fundamental question, as we have always said, the future is unwritten. We always welcome adult dialogue and criticism but when the abuse starts, it isn’t tolerated. There’s no room for abuse in any domain, there’s no need for it, and education on this in many forms is important.

Apart from Josh Ginnelly there was no news on Sam Parker, but we understand he won’t feature today. There’s still a few from the U21 squad who are knocking on the door. Irishman Glory Nzingo in the under 21’s plus Aimar Govea and Kyrell Wilson all now pushing for first team consideration. Govea won’t feature today as the under 21 side put in an excellent effort last night against West Bromwich Albion drawing 1-1 at home. Especially as they were down to ten men.

Ollie Cooper alongside Ginnelly as stated are definitely out along with Andrew Fisher, who at this time we are unsure if he would feature at the moment. Eom is definitely in the team hotel this morning and really should feature today.
