Team News : AFC Bournemouth v Swansea City FA Cup + Mykola question ? Thursday, 25th Jan 2024 15:23 by Liam Walters The Swans are depleted which will see a couple of changes from head coach, Luke Williams. AFCB have a few concerns as well. It’s the fourth round of the FA Cup this evening on LIVE TV at the Vitality Stadium on the south coast. TEAM NEWS is in - Swansea City: Andy Fisher, Jay Fulton, Joe Allen, Matt Grimes (captain), Jerry Yates, Charlie Patino, Liam Cullen, Nathan Wood, Kyle Naughton, Harrison Ashby, Bashir Humphreys. Substitutes: Carl Rushworth, Kristian Pedersen, Harry Darling, Jamie Paterson, Nathanael Ogbeta, Yannick Bolasie, Mykola Kuharevich, Ollie Cooper, Filip Lissah. Bournemouth: Mark Travers, Lewis Cook, Lloyd Kelly, David Brooks (captain), Dominic Solanke, Ryan Christie, Alex Scott, Luis Sinisterra, James Hill, Marcos Senesi, Illia Zabarnyi. Substitutes: Andrei Radu, Milos Kerkez, Chris Mepham, Marcus Tavernier, Justin Kluivert, Kieffer Moore, Antoine Semenyo, Gavin Kilkenny, Dominic Sadi. Jamal Lowe ( not eligible to play ) is out for four weeks, but the good news is the injury isn’t as bad as first thought ( knee hyper extension ) could have put him out for the season. Sam Parker is still out injured and could be for some while, Josh Key the same. Ben Cabango still hasn’t recovered from his injury neither has Azeem Abdulai. These are all players who may have featured tonight along with long term injury Josh Ginnelly. Liam Walsh has been given some time off recently to collect his thoughts on his future at the Swans, sadly things are not looking good for Liam at all. Another who would have featured this evening surely ? The facial reaction of Luke Williams when the name Mykola Kukharevych ( correct spelling ) was mentioned told a few tales. He really wasn’t committed on his inclusion, okay he’s had a long term injury, but that reaction was strange. Plus these words on the Mykola Kukharevych question and his selection tonight : “Yeah, yeah, potentially yeah, potentially an option “ Are we seeing an insight in to Mykola possibly going out on loan or the Swans pushing for that to happen ? It just seemed an odd reply. Something is afoot with Mykola. If he was in favour surely Luke would have given more insight as he did with Yannick Bolasie ? Mykola’s inclusion or otherwise tonight will give us more of an insight. Tom Crocker reports on the Cherries current position regards injuries : Cherries currently have issues in defence, with Max Aarons, Adam Smith and Ryan Fredericks all absent, while Milos Kerkez is recovering from his own injury concern. Stand-in full-back Dango Ouattara is also unavailable, as he continues his Africa Cup of Nations duty with Burkina Faso. James Hill filled in as left-back from the start against Liverpool, while Marcus Tavernier has also been used in that role recently.
