West Bromwich Albion striker Karlan Grant will join the Swans on loan for the rest of the season. In a leftfield move by the Swans Grant comes in with a decent strike rate from his time at the Hawthorns.

This season hasn’t been so successful but he has scored three goals in nineteen appearances. He has had his issues and in 2018 was arrested for privacy invasion whilst on holiday in Ibiza. A team mate was arrested for sexual assault. That aside Grant has applied himself under several Baggies managers. He joined West Brom on a six-year contract in 2020 and has scored 22 total goals in 85 league appearances. Before signing for the Baggies, Grant spent an extremely successful 18 months at Huddersfield Town where he scored 23 times in 56 Championship appearances.

Grant we have been told since this news broke is on £19,000 a week and in contracted to the Baggies until 2026. The scope of the deal with Swansea is as yet not undisclosed.

We will confirm this once his medical is concluded in around an hour.
