Swansea City navigated a tough away day in Sunderland yesterday, and despite struggling at times against a noisy home support and an attempted comeback by the home side in the second half the swans took the points.

Post match swans manager Russell Martin commented on the game,the fans and gave a transfer update. Here is what the boss said.

It was a great day for the seven hundred travelling Jack Army as well. Captain Matt Grimes commented after the game. “The fans were unbelievable … unbelievable!” said the skipper. “Honestly, hats off to them for making this trip. They’ve given up their weekend and come all this way. I thought they were fantastic and got us through the times when they were creating chances. We’re so thankful for them and they make more of a difference than they probably realise. We are so pleased we've been able to give them a result."
