With a week to go its already a race against time for Colchester to get their pitch fit for play.

Colchester United have issued a plea to their supporters to clear snow off the pitch.

The grass itself is frozen and buried under several feet of snow and this needs to be cleared so that the pitch can thaw out, hopefullt this alighned with a thaw in the weather can allow the match to go ahead, however this weather spell seems to be far worse in the East of the country than central or west, so it may be in doubt.
