Doncaster Face Battle to Make Sure Town Game Goes Ahead Wednesday, 22nd Dec 2010 11:04 by TWTD.co.uk Doncaster Rovers chairman John Ryan says his club’s groundstaff “have it all on” to make sure Town’s game at the Keepmoat Stadium goes ahead next Tuesday as planned. Earlier in the month Doncaster’s home derby with Barnsley was called off, but Friday’s match against Middlesbrough beat the freeze. Ryan said: “Groundstaff are going to have to work hard to keep the [Christmas] games on but our boys did brilliantly for us last Friday night. “Our home game is on Tuesday, December 28th against Ipswich Town and, right now, I would say they will have it all on to get that game played — but it will not be for the want of trying!” Town’s Boxing Day home game against Watford is unlikely to be in any danger.
