Top Draw Clive - Marti should make sure the players read this to fully understand the great lengths and pain suffered by our loyal fans making these long journeys. |

The London Pride in the C&S used to be the best under the old landlord. Definitely not quite the same since. He kept a fantastic celar. |

My 16 year old daughters coming with me too - We will head to Borough Market first have some food and drinks then get on the train at London bridge to South Bermondsey (1 stop). From the station it is a walkway for away fans straight to the away end. You hardly see any Millwall fans. We may get kept in for 20 minutes after the game but it's no bother especially if we have the 3 points in our back pocket. It's a great away day - I'm sure she will love it. |
| Forum Reply | Owls not impressed with the school end at 10:08 27 Jan 2025
Yes we know its cramped etc - But we must of had a safety certificate otherwise we could not open the stand. The exit for the top tier is via SAR but in an emergency we could also allow fans to leave via Ellerslie Road (as per the bottom tier for Home fans) so that probably allows us to continue to operate. If only we could purchase the school it would open up so many more opportunities for ground improvements. Chris Wright missed a trick there. |

Thanks Clive - Not much else to add they were organised (looked fitter than us) and come and done a classic away job on us. I agree out of the midfield area Varane was the last one we should of taken off. He looked okay while Morgan and Field looked leggy. It also opened up that area of the pitch for Sheff Wed. Never mind we take it on the chin and we now have a full week to recover and prepare for next weekends London Derby. |

Wilder said he was very close to making some signings before the window closed. I really hope when the team is announced at 2.00pm today Jimmy Dunne's name is not missing. |

Yeah in our group we all bring the kids and when we have any spare tickets there is always friends of the kids that want to come. They all love the day - tube, food, pub and football and if you get a last minute Jimmy Dunne winner their friends are hooked for life......... |

What I like Dave is the profile of our fans - Whilst Chelsea is rammed with corporate and tourists when I look around Loftus Road whilst there are still plenty like me 55+ there is also a great young section (18 -25 year olds) coming through - I think the safe standing has also helped here. Clive mentioned in one of his articles about the increase of Mums & Dads with Sons and Daughters which also seems to be on the rise. Great to see and long may it continue.... |

Just watched Clive's pick from the Sheff Wed game back in 1988 - I was one of the hardy souls in a crowd of just over 8K - I also remember days in the early Premier League when we still struggled to get over 13k. Isn't it great despite our recent troubles on the pitch to see Loftus Road packed to the rafters and a whole new generation of fans coming through the ranks. Our fanbase certainly seems to have grown in recent seasons and it looks like giving the lower school end to home fans with cheaper tickets will help this trend continue. The future is bright........ |

I forgot about that waste of space. Brighton certainly had our pants down with this one. Well and truly mugged off and they knew they were tucking us up too. Certainly don’t want him back at the training ground stinking the place out. |

Incredible and thank you Clive - How the hell you keep producing time after time these wonderful previews and match reports is beyond me. I have read this match report three times and keep finding these wonderful golden nuggets buried in the copy that bring a wry smile to this cold, rainy January morning. I said I would be happy with 2 points from our road trip so get the maximum is just ridiculous and so not QPR. Buzzing for Saturday - Full house and 3.00pm kick off. Come on you R'rrs |

I'm Paal's biggest critic but I am really pleased to see him improving with every game. |

I picked that up too..... It said a hip injury on the QPR Twitter feed. Hope it's nothing to serious and that it was lost a little in translation on Marti's post match interview. |

Cheers Clive - Great preview. The win at Plymouth makes this a bit of a free hit for me (I think we will beat Sheff Wed Saturday). However the travelling may just catch up with us and I predict a 1 V 0 Hull win although I wouldn't be surprised to see us pinch a point or even all three. So basically it could be anything for me tonight. I'm looking forward to watching on the red button. Safe travels to everyone heading to Humberside - No trains back so presume everyone is doing the 4 hours each way drive. Bloody Marvelous the lot of you!! |

Seems to be playing himself back into form - 2 assists in his last 2 games and Palace back on the up. The assist on Saturday was sublime, perfect weight of pass with his weaker foot. Surely a Man Utd or Spurs will be thinking of activating his release clause this month. Would be bloody helpful in securing a new contract for our Jimmy. |

Thank you Clive - Another enjoyable read to ease myself into the week ahead. I was pleased to see Edwards put in a decent performance after his poor show at Leicester the previous week. With Cook and Morrison back on the grass that hole in the middle of our defence looks to be fully plugged going forward. I watched on TV and a massive shout out to the travelling fans - Sold out away end in Devon for a 12.30pm kick off in mid January is truly amazing. The photo on your Twitter feed captures the delight perfectly. I still find it incredible our recovery from the end of November - For the first time in what seems like years I am no longer checking the other results of the teams round us which seems to have also improved my health and lowered my blood pressure. |
| Forum Reply | If a miracle happened and we went up via the playoffs at 17:20 19 Jan 2025
I would spend the £15M on the next phase of upgrading the training centre. That is the lifeblood of the club. Don’t go mad on silly transfers that’s what we did last time. In the likely event of relegation we would be in a much better position to go back up with the club having a strong financial backbone for the first time in a generation. |

As far as I am aware it is I don't think the police would want that shut down. - However I've not been since Nahki Wells got the winner a few years ago. |
