Donovan is still a better player than anyone on this current Swansea side.

Worst they have played this season. Maybe Bradley was actually raising their level?

WOAH! So youre saying "out of his depth" Bradley was RIGHT???? And the assistant coaches are even more clueless than him?????????

Fer doesnt deserve to play, and Bradley knew that from the start. Nice waste of 38 minutes, at least Swansea made it to halftime at 0-0 before.

Thanks Bob

Definitely agree, if a team like Los Angeles FC wants him it could be a bigger deal than a midsize club like Swansea. 30k new stadium, tons of money.

Or he could try getting a team into the World Cup. Infinite possibilties.

Apparently the players are questioning Bradley's training methods
at 04:02 25 Dec 2016

"Players held similar concerns regarding Guidolin’s coaching techniques..."

so what a surprise, it's the players who blame others for their own bad performances. you can't coach those defensive mistakes.

And to the genius linking the Le Havre article. They failed to win in 7 games, that article came out................... and they immidiately won 6 of 7 and went right back to the top 3. So much for trouble! That Le Havre article very similar to the DM article this thread is based off of. Easy pickings when the going is tough.

It's funny you say that, because that's exactly what people at Bigsoccer would say about this forum.

Both forums are the same exact deal. Just one is for Swansea, and the other one is for everything having to do with the game in America. Both want their cause to succeed. Except in the US most are country over club.

Bit surprised at the reaction, as you all have gone and done the same exact thing you would have expected, taking me as a representative as whatever shadowy entity you think is currently embroiled in a conspiracy to buy Swansea and make them fail.

1. You will find 1 centered area of discussion. http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/bob-bradley-swansea.2026609/ Have at it, try your best!

2. People that have followed the trials and tribulations of American Soccer do have a big chip on the shoulder regarding the Anti-American biases in Europe. How players don't get chances, how if they do get chances, they have incredibly short leashes. Same goes for Bob now I guess - but it's warranted if a player or coach has been awful. Most haven't been, yet still get treated this way. Any articles or outlets now are simply people who don't know how the game works, the time to write about bias isn't now.

3. I cannot justify Bradley's appointment, as I have been told by the people I work for to simply spread propaganda and not reveal my affiliations. Thank you for understanding!

4. Clearly American owners wanted to give one of their guys a shot, and why not. Don't like it? Buy your own club.

Well I live in New York and.... well yeah, what were you expecting.

The soccer community here consists of your common casual Madrid/Barca/Arsenal/Chelsea/MU fans, immigrants who love their teams/leagues back home, hipsters who like the EPL a bit too much, and a combination of those who follow MLS.

Maybe you are looking in the wrong place, the tiny American soccer community online is all over this. The biggest giveaway that Bradley HAS had some kind of impact is the fact that most American soccer fans talk about the Swans during the weekend (solely online, since it's still an incredibly underground sport), and more importantly that the TV coverage seems to feature Swansea each weekend.. which certainly wasn't the case before Bob. IIRC something like Swansea's last 4 (or 3 of 4, at least) matches were on easy to find cable channels, which wasn't happening before.

In summary: you people talking about American influences making decisions solely based off gaining American costumers....... are so ridiculously off the mark, but that seems to be a theme with you Brits isn't it, saying ludicrous things in that echo chamber of yours.

Congratulations Swansea fans, now you know what the Premier League is like.
at 17:39 17 Dec 2016

First sense of relegation, of the team being in trouble, and you saw people like Amat and Llorente yucking it up with the opposition after the match. You think Bob is the problem?

Congratulations, after all these years did you really think the players cared about the shirt? Welcome to the Premier League, Swansea supporters... you can't possibly complain about the coach now, after seeing how the majority of the players left really really really don't care.

They'll just get picked up by another team, or go back to Spain, or stay in the Championship with very good pay compared to other countries anyway.. they all have options. You don't, you're stuck with the team. So really, don't expect anything special.

You're all going to be laughing about today when you're 13th by New Years.

Swansea is now up to 17th, and are now out of the relegation places with a 3-0 victory over Sunderland. Two wins in three and 11th in the form table.

5 points to 12th, however Burnley's victory throws a slight wrench in the plans, so to be safe I am revising the thread title to "You're all going to be laughing about today when you're 13th by New Years."

(A) West Brom (3-2-2 home)
(A) Middlesbrough (1-1-4 home)
(H) West Ham (1-1-5 away)
(H) Bournemouth (1-2-4 away)

Reading this forum you'd think we are bottom by 6 points.
at 15:37 6 Dec 2016

Instead, it is 6 points to 13th with an easy run of games this month.

I know fan forums are supposed to be the most extreme pessimists that exist but really, get a grip!

It's almost like everyone forgot: 3 minutes from winning at Everton, controlling the match against Palace and still having the spirit to come back and win.

You know how when an unfancied boxer beats the Champ and commentary goes "Only him, his trainers, and his family believed he'd win today, and I'm not sure about his family", well I'm almost sure some of you want the team to fail, if only to justify all of the moaning.

Get a grip, give it one more week. Sunderland, West Brom, and Boro. If it goes badly, then we can all complain.

Beaten by a phantom penalty and a wonderstrike after doing an amazing job for 40 minutes.

Yes the squad isn't the best, but the last two "winnable" home games have resulted in an unlucky 0-0 against Watford, and a win against Palace.

Just a reminder to those preaching Swanmageddon after losing to a top team:

(H) Sunderland (1-1-5 away)
(A) West Brom (3-2-2 home)
(A) Middlesbrough (1-1-4 home)
(H) West Ham (1-1-5 away)
(H) Bournemouth (1-2-4 away)

You're all going to be laughing when you're 12th by New Years.
